Due to growth and changes to our cargo operation, we are seeking a permanent forklift operator to pack cargo including timber and pulp at our Port Pack operation based on-site at the Port. The successful operator will be operating up to 10 hours per shift.
Key priorities for the role include:
- Packing and de-vanning containers
- Loading/unloading trucks
- Provide service delivery to customer and product care standards
- Operating machinery to a high standard
- Working a changing shift pattern
- Safety – Zero Harm workplace through a Just Safety Culture
The successful operator must be skilled and experienced in operating 4.5 and 8 tonne forklifts, therefore a minimum Class 2 licence with an F endorsement is required. The operator will have excellent work ethic, good communication skills and the ability to follow instructions and processes within a timely and safe manner. A class 5 truck license would be an advantage, but is not a requirement.
